Ribe Station is an 8-minute walk. Regular connections from Esbjerg (20 min), Bramming, and Tønder.
🚗 By Car
Take the E20 to exit 72 (Ribe N) or exit 71 (Ribe S). Free on-site parking. EV charger available on request. Note: Sct. Nicolaigade is a pedestrian-priority street — drive slowly and park in our courtyard.
✈ By Air
Billund Airport (BLL) is 50 minutes by car. Esbjerg Airport (EBJ) is 25 minutes. Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is 3 hours by train with a change at Bramming.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 21:00. Check-out is by 11:00. Late check-in is possible by prior arrangement — just let us know when you book. We can leave your key in a lockbox with a code.
Is breakfast included?
Yes — organic breakfast is included in all room rates. Served daily from 7:00 to 10:00 in the courtyard (weather permitting) or the library lounge. Fresh bread from Ribe Bageri, local cheeses, eggs from Fanø, Danish butter, coffee, tea, and juice.
Do you have parking?
Yes — free on-site parking in our courtyard for all guests. One EV charger is available; please request it when you book. Additional free public parking is 2 minutes away on Torvet.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged for the first night. No-shows are charged the full stay. We recommend travel insurance for peace of mind.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. The Nattevagten family room and Møllehuset apartment are designed with families in mind. We have a high chair, a travel cot (on request), and a small library of Danish children's books. Children under 3 stay free in existing bedding.
Is the hotel accessible?
Kannikegaard (ground floor, private terrace) is step-free. The library lounge and breakfast area are on the ground floor. The upper floors are accessed by stairs only — the building is from 1823 and we couldn't install a lift without compromising the structure. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us and we'll find the best room for you.
Do you allow dogs?
One well-behaved dog is welcome in Marskværelset and Kannikegaard (ground floor rooms with courtyard access). A 150 DKK cleaning fee applies. Please let us know when you book. The Wadden Sea National Park has excellent dog-walking routes.
